TSgt Sean Harvell, 33
US Air Force Retired
GWOT Veteran
Long Beach, Los Angeles, CA
06 MAY 16

The PGR has been invited to honor TSgt Sean Harvell, 33, who tragically drowned in Long Beach last week, we would be honored to be there.

Sean was brother to SSgt Andrew Harvell, USAF, KIA 06 Aug 2011, who the PGR honored on his arrival and services. We were there for Andy we will be there for Sean, and for the Harvell family who has lost more than we can even imagine. We hope that our being there will give some small comfort.

TSgt Sean Harvell, like his brother, was a Special Tactics Combat Controller in the USAF, a Special Operations duty, and was medically retired due to injuries he received in combat. TSgt Sean Harvell was the recipient of 2 Silver Stars, a Purple Heart and numerous Bronze Stars. He served nearly 10 years in the Air Force, with multiple deployments.

Here is a video of TSgt Sean Harvell receiving his Silver Stars:

Sean was a motorcycle enthusiast, and in fact rode the motorcycle that pulled a glass trailer carrying his brother’s remains at his funeral. Sean was also a hunter, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast. He was an inspiration to everyone who knew him, and a great leader of men. He will be missed by more people, including family, friends, brothers in arms than can be counted.

Sean is survived by his 6 yr old daughter, his parents, and his sister.
