DESCRIPTION:TSgt Robert L. Dyer\, 82\, USAF (Ret)\, Summerville\, SC\, 5 July 2016 \nThe family of TSgt. Robert L. Dyer has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present at his final formation. \nTSgt Dyer was a member of the United States Air Force (USAF) from 1952 until his retirement in 1972 when he was Honorably Discharged. TSgt. Dyer\, served at Myrtle Beach AFB\, spent a tour in Korea during the Korean War\, then went to Charleston AFB\, on to Shaw AFB\, then Hickam AFB\, then to Mather AFB.  He then deployed to Taiwan where he flew missions in and out of Vietnam\, and then retired from Holloman AFB.  He is survived by his son\, Wayne Dyer\, three grandchildren\, three great-grandchildren\, a brother\, a sister-in-law\, and several nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his wife\, Mildred and son Robbie Dyer. \nLink to obituary: http://www.parksfuneralhome.com/obituary?id=251248 \nThis will be a two part mission for visitation and escort. \nMISSION DETAILS: \nPART 1: The family will arrive at 12:00 PM on Tuesday\, 5 July 2016.  The family will receive visitors from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday\, 5 July 2016 at Parks Funeral Home\, 130 West 1st North Street\, Summerville\, SC. \nThe service for TSgt Dyer will take place at 2:00 PM at the same location. \nAssemble: 11:15 \nBrief: 11:30 \nExecution: Upon completion of the briefing\, we will form a flag line for the arrival of the family and guest.  We will hold the flag line until the service starts at 2:00 PM.
