ABOUT THE MISSION:
Troy Prather joined the US Army served his country honorably in Germany and Austria as one of America’s Greatest Generation during WWII. I was just told that he definitely saw combat as there’s a picture of him standing in Hitler’s house in Austria after it was blown up. He lived in Lubbock, TX for the past several years and has now joined his loving wife Thelma in heaven.

I’ll stand a few static flags at Steed Todd around 1230; before the Prather family arrives.

We will stand down when the service begins at 2:00 PM. Following the service (approximately 3:00 pm), the family has requested a motorcycle escort to Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, 1601 E Llano Estacado Blvd, Clovis, NM (approximately 1.5 miles). We normally have a police escort to block traffic also.
We will have flags available at the cemetery and this service is expected to be very short and our mission will then be completed. Everyone wanting to be part of the MC escort may fly bike flags. Note: this is optional. Others can stage at the cemetery by 3:00 PM. Expected to be hot so please dress accordingly.
