DESCRIPTION:HONOR MISSION\nUS Air Force Korean War and Vietnam Veteran Troy Ellis Herring – 82\nThursday 9 June 2016\nByram\, Mississippi\n\n\n \n\nThe family of US Air Force Veteran Troy Ellis Herring has requested the PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS honor and pay tribute to him for his dedicated and honorable service to our country.Mr. Herring served in many locations the United States along with service in Korea and Vietnam any many other overseas assignments before retiring after 20 years of dedicated and loyal service. Among his many medals\, awards and citations was the Bronze Star. He was a life member of American Legion Post #112\, VFW Post #687\, DAV and many civic organizations. \nPRIMARY STAGING:  Thursday 9 June 2016 at 8:30 AM at CHANCELLOR FUNERAL HOME; 7225 S Siwell Rd.; Byram\, MS 39272 the PGR will provide a silent US Flag line for visitation from 9:00 AM until the beginning of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. \nESCORT:  Immediately following the funeral service the PGR will escort Mr. Herring to LAKEWOOD MEMORIAL PARK SOUTH; 430 McCleur Rd.; Jackson\, MS 39212 and provide a silent US Flag line for full military honors provided by the USAF Honor Guard from Keesler AFB. \nNOTE: The escort distance is less than 15 miles\, large motorcycle mounted US Flags are encouraged.
