ABOUT THE MISSION:

SSG Wheeler was born on July 7, 1992 to Kenneth Dean and Della Colleen ( Davis) Wheeler in Torrance, CA and passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 in Hobbs, NM. He was a proud member of the US Army, earning several medals, badges, citations, and campaign ribbons. Staff Sergeant Wheeler’s service included tours in Afghanistan and Kuwait. He was very proud to have had the opportunity to serve his country. SSG Wheeler enjoyed fishing, slow dancing (in the kitchen) with the love of his life, being goofy, and taking care of others. He is survived by his wife, son, two brothers, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ecclesiastes 3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;. Lord we pray for strength for the family as they go through the days ahead. Bind them together in love and comfort them only as you can.
My wife and I wish to offer our deep heartfelt condolences.
They did their part. Now we will do our very best to honor you.

I wanted you to know how honor I was to have been chosen the Ride Captain for your love one and to have escorted him to his final resting place. May GOD Peace of knowing that Travis is in the Fathers Hands help you cope with your loss.
