He was a proud member of the US Army\, earning several medals\, badges\, citations\, and campaign ribbons. Staff Sergeant Wheeler’s service included tours in Afghanistan and Kuwait. He was very proud to have had the opportunity to serve his country. SSG Wheeler enjoyed fishing\, slow dancing (in the kitchen) with the love of his life\, being goofy\, and taking care of others.
