ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Travis Mark Opperman, 31, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a silent Flag line honoring his service to our Country. Travis proudly served in the US Army from 2007-2015. He was a Combat Engineer (Route Clearance) as part of the 41st engineer company AKA the ”Bulldawgs” of Fort Riley, KS home of the Big Red One. Throughout his Military career he received many awards, his most honorable being the Purple Heart-received during Operation Enduring Freedom tour from 2009-2010. He is survived by his parents, 1 sister and a huge extended family.
