Traveling Memorial

HOTH Mission
09/11 Traveling Memorial
Washington, Missouri – 08-06-19

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, please join us in escorting the 9/11 Memorial exhibit to the Washington Missouri Fairgrounds, where it will be seen by thousands of visitors during the 2019 fair.  This memorial is a 53 foot long vehicle, which transforms into a 1,000 square foot exhibit that is intended to educate people about the 9/11 attacks.  It also provides a memorial so that we never forget the 400+ First Responders that gave their lives in the wake of events that took place on September 11, 2001.  The memorial will include some of the actual Twin Tower I-beam structure, have actual recordings of the radio transmissions from First Responders, and offer tours guided by retired New York City Police and Fire Fighters.  It will be the honor of the Patriot Guard to escort the 9/11 Memorial, along with many active First Responders, through the streets of Washington, Missouri for the public to show their respect, and offer their gratitude for those who lost their lives protecting us on 9/11, and for those who continue to protect us daily.  Our mission will be complete after the 9/11 Memorial safely arrives at the Washington Missouri Fairgrounds.
