His family has requested that the PGR attend his services. The mission is a ‘go’ and all contacts have been made.
Tommy joined the Navy in October 1965 and served for over four years, with two tours of duty as a river boat gunner patrolling the Mekong River during the Viet Nam War. Unfortunately, his exposure to Agent Orange during his service led to many of the health problems he suffered during the latter years of his life. After an Honorable discharge from the Navy with the rating of E4 – Petty Officer Third Class.
Tommy returned to Dallas to spend the remainder of his adult life working in both the public & private sector. He was member of the Big D 57 Texas Disabled American Veterans.
Services: 3:30 pm Saturday, August 13th at King Cemetery, Aley, Texas. There will be a flag line only at the cemetery.
Staging: At the cemetery from 2:15 pm to 2:45 pm with a riders meeting at 2:45 pm.
All new members are requested to sign a PGR release of liability prior to flag line.Please remain flexible as to the requirements of the mission.
