ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of SSG Thomas “Zak” Zakrewski has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor the service of their Hero. “Zak” lost his life tragically and heroically while vacationing in SW Florida when he rescued an 8 year old family member from drowning and was swept away by a violent riptide.
SSG Zakrewski proudly served in the United States Air Force for 9 years and was employed by Delta Airlines. We will stand an honorable silent flag line to honor his service as guests arrive for a 1:00pm meal and celebration before the 2 pm service at which time we will quietly stow away our flags and disperse.
