DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nThomas Patrick (Pat) Hays\, Jr.\, Veteran\nUSA –\nMonroe\, Louisiana – 06-04-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe Hays Family has asked the Patriot Guard to honor their Hero’s service to our Country and we are honored to do so. Thomas Patrick (Pat) Hays\, Jr. was born on March 18\, 1964. He passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy\, 2-year battle with cancer on June 1\, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents\, Thomas Patrick Hays\, Sr. and Rosina Lisotta Hays; and two brothers\, Frank Hays and Phil Hays. He is survived by two sisters\, an aunt\, sister-in-law\, nieces and nephews\, great nephews\, and one great niece\, the apple of his eye. Pat loved to travel. In his career as a refractory specialist\, he worked in 42 states. Pat was a graduate of University of Florida Construction Safety\, OSHA Industry. Pat served in the United States Army for 6 yrs with the 528 Engineering Battalion. He was a fourth degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus\, a member of the ACTS community\, and an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing\, hunting and enjoying nature in general. He especially enjoyed teaching his nephews how to fish and hunt.
