Riders will stand “tall and silent” as family and friends arrive for the funeral service. Once the service begins, when directed by the MRC, flags will be carried to the support vehicle to be furled and put away. Riders participating in the procession will receive a safety briefing and prepare for the ride. Riders not participating may continue on to the cemetery to help establish the flag line there.

Riders not participating in the procession will meet at the grave site to establish a flag line and await the family’s arrival. Riders will stand “tall and silent” until the conclusion of the interment service that will include Military Honors. When directed by the MRC riders will carry the flags back to the support vehicle to be furled and put away. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed.
