Honor Mission
Thomas M. Stratman, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Family of Mr. Thomas M. Stratman has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a silent flag line in honor of his service to our country. Mr. Stratman served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 with the 6th Infantry, 1st Armored Division. Tom served in Vietnam from 7/68 thru 7/69 as a forward radar operator, in the Infantry operations, recon/intelligence unit. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze service stars, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, C.I.B., Expert (Rifle), and the Bronze Star. Upon his honorable discharge Tom attended G.M.I. and was employed by G.M., Fisher Truck & Bus for 44 years, retiring to enjoy bowling, golf, swimming, euchre, and spending time with his many friends and family. Mr. Stratman is survived by his wife of 52 years, one son, six siblings, and many extended family. Please join us to stand our flag line for this honored Veteran, and to support his family in this time of grief.

The funeral home has a warming area.

We will render honors after the service at the funeral home.
Internment will take place immediately after the service. Depending upon conditions at the cemetery we may reestablish our flag line at that location. The family has extended to all of us an invitation to the luncheon following the internment ceremony.
