DESCRIPTION:The family of Greatest Generation and WWII hero Thomas Lynch\, 98\, has honored the Patriot Guard by requesting our presence with a Flag Line of Honor at their loved ones celebration of life.\n\nMr. Lynch served our great nation 1941-1945 in the US Navy and earned the rank of Chief Petty Officer flying in a Martin Mariner Bomber Patrol Group in the South Atlantic and Caribbean.\n\nHe earned the US Navy Air Crew Wing Pin with 2 Stars (2 enemy Subs sunk) and the Military Medal for Caribbean and S. Atlantic with 1 Star (1 enemy Sub sunk) along with numerous other awards\, decorations\, and commendations.\n\n Mr Lynch was then employed by McDonnell-Douglas for 35 years\, He was a longtime member of St. Peters Parish in St. Charles\, A member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society\, Knights of Columbus Council 823\, and a member of American Legion post 312.\n\n Mr. Lynch continues helping others by having donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.\n\nStaging\n\n 0845\, Monday June 13\n\n St. Peters Catholic Church\n221 First Capitol Drive\n\nSt. Charles Mo.
