Honor Mission

Woodstock – Cumming, Georgia – 06-12-20

Another member of the greatest generation has been lost. The family of WWII U.S. Navy Veteran Thomas Henry Lentz has requested the Patriot Guard Riders join them in providing honor and respect as he is laid to rest. We have informed them that it will be a privilege to do so. Thomas Lentz served on the USS SPERRY (AS 12) at the end of WWII. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy at 17 right out of high school and was honorably discharged as an Electronics Technician Third Class. After military service he went back to school obtaining a Masters Degree in Business and in Chemical Engineering. He owned his own business and worked until finally retiring at the age of 88.
