ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard will honor Master Chief Petty Officer Thomas F. Feddon, Jr., 78, of Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of Clinton, MD by standing a silent flag-line in his honor during his interment. MCPO Feddon died on February 15, 2021. He enlisted in the Navy directly after high school and proudly served on active duty for 8 years, before going into the reserves. Much of his active duty service was during the Vietnam War and although he was originally an aircraft mechanic he soon became a helicopter pilot. While in the reserves, he was a Police Officer with the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department and a founding member of the MPDC Helicopter Branch. He ended his career as Sergeant/Chief Pilot. After retirement, he went on to assist the Prince Georges County Police with establishing their helicopter unit.
