It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that America has lost another True American HERO. The family of Thomas DeWitt Sanders has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their loved one.
Thomas D Sanders passed away Friday, 2 September 2016 at the age of 84. Staff Sergeant Thomas DeWitt Sanders served in the United States Army 3 years, 4 months and 18 days during the Korea War. He received the Korea Service Medal with Three Stars, the United States Service Medal, the National Defense Ribbon a Good Conduct Medal and an Honorable Discharge.
Visitation: Pinecrest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Al from 09:00 to 9:30 for Family, and 9:30 to 10:00 for friends. The Patriot Guard Riders will render Final Salute Honors at the end of visitation and then lead the procession to the graveside.
Graveside Service will be at Pinecrest Funeral Home, at 10:00 hours. Honor Guard will be at graveside.
