SUMMARY:Thomas Collins
DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nThomas Collins\, Veteran\nUSMC – Korea\nSilverdale\, Washington – 06-22-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nLadies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, we have been invited by the family of Cpl Thomas Collins to attend his celebration of life and final military honors. Thomas joined the Marines and served on the USS Iowa as a Forward Observer (the ones that literally call the shots) during the Korean War. After returning from Korean Cpl Collins was out with some of his buddies and was in a brutal auto accident that took the lives of some of his friends that he’d served with in Korea\, the accident also left Thomas with severe physical injuries and so he finished out his enlistment and left the USMC. In his civilian life Thomas worked for Pacific NW Bell (affectionately known as Ma Bell)\, which was eventually bought out by AT&T and retired from there after 33 years of faithful service. Thomas’ favorite way to start his day was to sit at a café on the Hood Canal and have coffee with his buddies\, so his family is honoring him in the same manner. Let’s give this brave American a proper thank you and send off.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 06-22-19 \nStaging Time: 09:30 AM\n \nSilverdale Chevron\n7978 Seabeck Hwy NW\nSilverdale\, Washington 98383\n\n\nRide Captain: \nSabrina “Mother Hen” Brown\npgrmotherhen@gmail.com\n206-369-1434\n\nRCiT: Mike Collins\, ironhorse15_444-@msn.com\, 360-471-4346\nSV: Veronica Port\, veronicaport@hotmail.com\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nSCHEDULE:09:15 – RC/SV arrive\n09:30 – riders arrive\, sign in\, fill and drain\n09:45 – mission/ride brief\n10:00 – KSU to service location\n11:00 – service starts\n11:30 – or end of service\, quietly fade away\, debrief\nWeather looks like it’ll be in the mid to upper 60’s\, always a chance of wet\, so be prepared.\nParking at service location is very limited.
