ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand in a flag line for the re-dedication of the Thomas Cemetery in North Little Rock. Thomas Cemetery was established in the late nineteenth century and has been in a state of disrepair for decades. However, in September 2018, a board was appointed to oversee the preservation of the cemetery. Board members and members of Prudence Hall Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will co-host a Veterans Day observance to honor veterans in attendance as well as all veterans buried at the cemetery.
Known veterans buried at Thomas Cemetery: Civil War (Confederate): 12, Civil War (Union): 2. WWI: 2, WWII: 2, Other: 3.
There are likely additional veterans in the cemetery who have not yet been verified.

Flag Line: 11:00 am for ceremony.
Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
DIRECTIONS: From Camp Robinson Road, turn west at the US Bank branch onto 37th Street/Doyle Venable Drive. Pass the stop light at the intersection of Doyle Venable and Pike Avenue and immediately turn right (west) onto the old portion of 37th Street.
Once you are on the old section of 37th Street, you will see the park to your left. The service will be in one of the two pavilions.

Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
