ABOUT THE MISSION:
Arkansas has lost a true American Hero and Patriot. The family of Thomas Allen Thompson has asked the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of their Hero during his graveside services at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Sgt Thompson joined the Army Feb. 11, 1972 as an Avionic Mechanic. While serving he earned the following medals: National Defense Medal, Vietnam Cross Gallantry W/Palm, Vietnam Service Medal W/BSS, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 device, Expert Rifle and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Sgt Thompson completed his duty on Apr. 11, 1975. After his Military service he worked for ABF Freight Systems until retirement. After retirement he enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Country music, watching westerns and spending time with his Family. It will truly be an honor to stand for Sgt Thomas Allen Thompson.
