Honor Mission
Thomas A. Twigg Sr., PGR
USA – Vietnam
MULTI-CITY, Florida 10-11-19

The family of SSG Thomas A. Twigg Sr. 75, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders presences as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest.

SSG Twigg faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne “Screaming Eagles” while serving a tour in Vietnam. Upon completion of his service, SSG Twigg received an Honorable Discharge and during his time in service, received a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Marksmanship Medal (Rifle) and a National Defense Service Medal.

SSG Twigg and his wife Dee created a traveling replica of the Vietnam Wall and toured the country for 22 years displaying it at hundreds of locations in remembrance of those who lost their life in Vietnam. When it became too difficult for them to continue, being a fellow PGR and aware of the dedication and devotion the PGR has for our Fallen, they graciously donated their Vietnam Wall to the PGR to carry on their legacy.

This mission includes an LEO assisted escort from Kissimmee to Bushnell (approximately 80 miles) followed by a funeral service at Florida National Cemetery.

Please bring your 3X5 American flag and stand in honor and respect for our fellow PGR, U.S. Army Airborne Veteran and his family.

Flag Bikes are strongly encouraged.

Many have talked the talk, a relative few among the many walked the walk, this man did. He remembered those who dared tread where others dare not.
They may not be physically with us today but they are among us until we no longer honor and remember them, may their memory be forever honored.
    So others might taste liberty
And may those who strove to deliver liberty never be forgotten.
