The family of MK2 Theron “Joe” Hutto has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Rider’s presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest.
MK2 Hutto initially served his Country in the U.S. Navy and performed duties as an Ordnance Specialist (GMG3), then in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Machinery Technician (MK2).
Upon completion of his military service, MK2 Hutto received an Honorable Discharge and awarded a National Defense Service Medal (2nd award), Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Coast Guard Bicentennial Unit Commendation, Coast Guard Reserve Good Conduct Award (4th award), Navy Sea Service Ribbon, Coast Guard Meritorious Reserve Medal (2nd award) Coast Guard Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Coast Guard Expert Rifle Medal, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Award, Coast Guard Sea Service Ribbon w/ 2 Stars, Humanitarian Service Medal and a Coast Guard Expert Pistol Medal.
Note: This is a two-part mission.
Part 1 is an escort only (approximately 10 miles) from Largo to St. Petersburg.
Part 2 is a Committal Service at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, FL.
Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and join us as we stand in silent Honor and Respect for our U.S. Navy Hero and his family.
