SGM Thaddeus Irving Woodward honorably served just under 21 years in the United States Army, with that service spanning both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

We will stage at the church where the flags will have already been set up for the visitation. The mission brief will be given, and then we will stand in the flag line to receive the family and guests of SGM Woodward. Once the service begins, we will retrieve the flags and return them to the support vehicle, where they will be furled and stowed. The riders not participating in the escorted procession will be dismissed to proceed on to the cemetery for the interment portion of this mission. The procession riders will then receive the safety brief from the ride captain and prepare for the departure of the procession from the church.

We will stage at the interment site at the cemetery where we will assist the support person in setting up the flags and preparing the interment site. We will then stand tall and silent as the procession arrives, bringing SGM Woodward, his family and friends. At the conclusion of the committal service, and at the direction of the ride captain, the flags will be retrieved and returned to the support vehicle, where they will be furled and stowed. After the post mission brief, all riders will be dismissed.
