Mission Summary:
We will honor our friend and fellow PGR member, Ted Waite, by having an honor/flag line at his memorial service and accompanying him to his final resting place at Fort Sill National Cemetery.
The temperature by the time we reach the cemetery is forecast to be in the mid 90’s so please hydrate the day before as well as the morning before we leave.

Details Of Part 1:
Due to limited parking space at the church, we are asking motorcycles to park along Cypress Street just north of the Cypress/Lindale intersection. Upon arrival at the church we will place static flags along the street sides of the church and prepare to stand an honor line for the arrival of Ted’s friends and family.
When the service starts we will be free to join in the service or prepare for the trip to Fort Sill National Cemetery.

PART 2:Procession to and inurnment at Fort Sill National Cemetery Mission Date:Jun 20, 2016 – Monday

Details Of Part 2:
Upon completion of the memorial service, we will accompany the procession the approximate 75 miles to Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.
There will be no LEO [Law Enforcement Officers] on this procession, but once we reach the highway, which is only a mile from the church, there will be no
intersections or major ramps to contend with.
Please keep in mind, there is one toll booth along the route, so please be prepared with the $1.50 change for the toll booth.
The Oklahoma PGR is graciously providing flag support at the cemetery so they will be waiting there to join us in the final honors for Ted.

Ted Waite was not only a veteran, he was a friend to many here in the Wichita Falls area. He was a member of and actively supported the Green Knights Military Motorcycle Club, the Patriot Guard Riders and the American Legion Riders.

There was a memorial service in Washington State for Ted as well. That is the reason for the dates shown in the original obituary. Emily is driving down from there with Ted’s ashes and is expected to arrive sometime late Friday evening.
