DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nTed Roy Pylant\, Veteran\nUSMC – Korea\nArlington\, Texas – 06-04-19\n\n\n \n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nTed Roy Pylant was born on April 14\, 1933 in Armore\, OK to Roy Granville Pylant and Iris Howard Pylant. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a staff sergeant during the Korean War. Ted married his high school sweetheart\, Shirley Scarbrough\, on May 15\, 1954 in Ardmore\, OK. A resident of Pantego and Arlington for the past 65 years\, he was a longtime member of Park Springs Bible Church. He retired as an electrical engineer and quality assurance manager for LTV.\n\nMr. Pylant loved riding his Honda Gold Wing motorcycle. He was a builder\, engineer\, and master genealogist. Following the mission briefing\, Riders will stand the Flag Line for the arrival of Family and friends at the Funeral Service of Mr. Pylant. After the start of the service\, Flags will be furled\, bikes staged for the procession to the Cemetery and the safety briefing conducted. Riders wishing to do so can proceed to the cemetery for the Interment Service scheduled to follow the conclusion of the Funeral Service.The Interment Service will be conducted at Moore Memorial Gardens\, 1219 North Davis Drive\, Arlington\, TX 76012. There is not a separate staging for the Interment Service. Professional Escort Service will support the Procession. At the conclusion of the Interment Service\, Flags will be furled and Riders dismissed.
