Ted Michael Solie served honorably in the USA and USAR. Ted earned the rank of Private Second Class. He served with the 7th Battalion 6th Infantry USAREUR as an E7 and was awarded the following awards and commendations: Army Service Ribbon; Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge Rifle; M16 Expert Marksmanship Badge Grenade; Expert Marksmanship Dragon Gunner (M47 Anti-Tank Missile System).
