ABOUT THE MISSION:

Seaman (SN) Talbot E. Walker, 72, US Navy Vietnam Combat Veteran, of Pleasant Hill, MO, died February 8th, 2020.  Talbot served in the Navy, assigned to the River Assault Squadron 11, River Assault Division, from October 1967-March 1969.  He was the recipient of three Purple Hearts, and the Bronze Star w/Combat V for Heroic Achievement in Vietnam.  After his discharge, he was a River Boat Captain for the Missouri River Queen and the Spirit of St. Joseph.  He was a member of the VFW Post 3118, the Mobile Riverine Force Association and the National Rifle Association.  He is survived by his son Talbot “Bo” a daughter Kristen, four grandchildren; one great grandchild, and four siblings.  SN Walker is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 24 March 2020, at approximately 9:00 AM, from the Administration Bldg. PGR has been invited to attend the services and we will be there to stand tall, silent and proud in honor of this US Navy Vietnam Combat Veteran and Purple Hear Recipient, his family, friends and comrades at arms.
