ABOUT THE MISSION:
TD Gibson’s military service includes Active Duty from 1966-1969 serving in Korea in the US Army and during the Vietnam war and also seventeen years in the Army Reserves before his retirement as Sergeant First Class. After serving his military tour of duty he worked for 20 plus years for The City of Dallas, Dallas Fire Rescue until his retirement in 1999. He was President of The Black Firefighters Association, International Association of Black Professional Firefighters, and The James Madison High School Alumni Association. The Patriot Guard Riders will honor Mr. Gibson on Friday July 5th and then again on Monday July 8th, please see staging notes. Obituary

Riders will stage at the church to be briefed and to stand tall and silent as family and friends arrive. After the service begins, flags will be returned to the support vehicle. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed. Interment service will be held at 10:15 on Monday, July 8th, at DFW National Cemetery.

Riders will stage at the Information Center. After the briefing, honor bikes will proceed to the designated staging lane. All other riders will proceed to the designated shelter to set flags and await the arrival of the procession. Riders will stand tall and silent until the MRC indicates flags be returned to the storage locker/vehicle. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed.
