ABOUT THE MISSION:

Sylvan G. Elmer, 93, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Boland Hall Veteran’s Home in Union Grove. Sylvan was born in Postville, Wisconsin on June 8, 1926, the son of Conrad and Rosa Elmer. He served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1947 on the USS Salt Lake City and was part of the Bikini Atoll Atomic Bomb Testing. Sylvan was a motorcycle enthusiast, particularly with Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He has passed on his legacy to our PGR Brother Darrel Elmer – PGR Ride Captain from Alabama.
