We have been asked by Catholic War Veterans of America to stand for Steven Maxwell who served in the US Army from 1968 to 1970.

The Catholic War Veterans of America, Department of New York is scheduled to conduct a funeral service for a fellow veteran, Steven Maxwell, a resident of the Woodside Queens, NY neighborhood. Mr. Maxwell is listed as a Roman Catholic on his DD214 and other more recent VA paperwork.
Father Kevin Abel, Pastor of St Sebastian’s Parish and Chaplain of St Sebastian’s CWV Post 870, has graciously offered to officiate at the Funeral Mass. The members of Post 870 along with other CWV members, will provide a color guard and pall bearers.
The funeral arrangements are being handled by the Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home on Morris Park Avenue in the Bronx.
The burial service at Calverton National Cemetery will follow.
After Mass, our comrade veteran will be brought to Calverton National Cemetery.
At the present time we have no RC for escort to Calverton.
