  2. The weather forecast is not cooperating today. Showers and thunderstorms………..80% chance.
Now, I’m riding. I’m in Laurens already. When the mission concludes I’ll have a 3 mile ride.
I know that many who will want the ride would have to ride a considerable distance. Please have a conversation with yourself about safety before you ride today. If you are not accustomed to riding in rain, perhaps heavy rain, please use four wheels today.

  3. Mission Report:
On a cloudy, wet Carolina Tuesday afternoon, 5 Patriot Guard Riders came together on 3 motorcycles and 2 cages to pay honors and respect to an American Hero, Steven Dale Nelsin, Sr, US Army Veteran. We had 1 ASC, 1 RC, 1 RCIT and 2 Patriot Guard Riders.
A flag line was set up for the arrival of the family and continued until the start of the services. Upon conclusion of the services, we rendered honors to Mr. Nelsin and then provided a motorcycle escort to the cemetery. A flag line had been established prior to our arrival and upon joining the flag line we again rendered honors to Mr. Nelsin. At the conclusion of the ceremony we quietly stood down and departed the area. I want to thank all who attended and made this another successful mission. Also, a special thanks to Rick Markt for providing the flags, water, snacks, and having things all set up at the cemetery. There were no incidents to report.
