ABOUT THE MISSION:
It is a most distinct honor and privilege for the Patriot Guard Riders, at the family’s request, to stand a flag line of honor and respect for United States Army Veteran Steven Conrad Oppermann, 67, and escort him to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery where he will receive full military honors. PFC Oppermann proudly served his country from January 1972 to April 1973 as a Clerk Typist and earned the National Defense Service Medal along with qualifying Expert with the M16 & Hand Grenade. Hero Oppermann, a grateful nation thanks you and is indebted to you for your honorable service. Your sacrifices have granted us the freedoms we continue to enjoy to this very day. Thank you and Godspeed.
