ABOUT THE MISSION:

Sterling Geary, Jr. (POW) was born on July 23, 1926. While captured as a Prisoner of War (Korean War), it is believed that he passed away on March 31, 1951.Private First Class Sterling Geary, Jr., was a soldier in the United States Army. On August 7, 2019, Private Geary will arrive at Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport to finally be laid to rest with full military honors at DFW National Cemetery on Thursday, August 15, 2019

Procession Staging Time 07:30 Briefing Time 07:45 In Position/KSU Time 08:00 Starting Time 08:15 This is a procession only from DFW Airport to Chamberland Funeral Home , Texas. The procession will escort PFC Sterling Geary’s remains from the DFW Airport Police Station to Chamberland Funerals & Cremations, 333 W. Avenue D, Garland, Texas . The procession will be escorted by a professional escort service. No cages allowed—– motorcycles only. The remains of PFC Sterling Geary will be initially escorted by DFW Airport Police from the airport tarmac to the DFW Airport Police Station to begin the subsequent procession to the funeral home.
