ABOUT THE MISSION:

Sterling Geary, Jr. (POW) was born on July 23, 1926. While captured as a Prisoner of War (Korean War), it is believed that he passed away on March 31, 1951.Private First Class Sterling Geary, Jr., was a soldier in the United States Army.

This inurnment service is a follow-up to the mission that brought the remains of PFC Geary home on August 7th.
All riders will stage at the Visitor’s Center, where the mission brief will be given. Flag bikes will be chosen and relocated to the assigned staging lane. Remaining riders will proceed on to the shelter to set flags and prepare for the arrival of the procession bringing PFC Geary, his family and friends.
At the conclusion of the committal service, and at the direction of the ride captain, the flags will be retrieved and returned to the shelter storage area, where they will be furled and stowed. After the post mission brief, all riders will be dismissed.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
