Mission Complete: Welcome Home- 10 May 2019- Lt. Col. Stephen Williams ,USAF, Active Duty, Okla. City, Ok.
On Friday, 10 May 2019 there were 11 Patriot Guard Riders on 6 bikes and 3 cages who attended the Welcome Home of Lt. Col.Stephen Williams at the Will Rogers World Airport In Okla.City, Ok.
Riders staged in the Quality Inn parking lot and the briefing was held, followed by a moment of silence for the Blue, Silver and Gold Star families,POWs and MIAs. A prayer asking for a safe mission and protection for our military personnel engaged in the Global War on Terror was also said.
At the completion of the briefing, riders mounted up and rode to the airport. After checking in at the Military Welcome Center, Riders each took possession of a flag and awaited the landing of Lt. Col. Williams’ plane. Riders lined up in 2 rows and the American Flags stood proudly as Lt. Col.Williams exited the terminal area and walked down the Flag Line to reunite with his family.
Riders individually Thanked Lt. Col. Williams and then returned the flags to their proper storage area and were dismissed.
Thank You to all my fellow Patriot Guard Riders for attending this mission. Your presence was very much appreciated by the family
Most of all, Thank You Lt. Col. Williams for you Service to this great nation.
