Stephen “Speedy” Gonzales, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr Gonzales has requested that the Patriot Guard Honor him for his service to our country. Mr Gonzales served in the Army national Guard, stationed in California from Jul 1954 to Jul 1957. His awards include M1 Marksman and the Sharpshooter Badge. After his service he was a truck driver for various companies and finally retired from the City of Cabot. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, 3 children, 8 grand children, 16 great-grandchildren, a sister, brother, and a host of other family and friends. He enjoyed bowling, but his biggest love was restoring ’55 and ’56 Ford pickups.
