On Tuesday there were 3 Patriot Guard Riders on 3 bikes who attended the mission to Honor the Military Service of US Army Veteran SP5 Stephen R. Frick at the Oklahoma Cremation and Funeral Home Oklahoma City, OK.

The briefing was held, followed by a moment of silence for the Blue, Silver & Gold Star families, POWs and MIAs. A prayer asking comfort for the grieving family, a safe mission, and protection for our military personnel engaged in the Global War on Terror was also said.

With the able assistance of the Oklahoma City Police Dept.,  PGR accompanied  the Hero, family and friends to the Ft Sill National Cemetery Elgin, OK.

Upon arrival the Riders stood another Respect Line as the Hero was moved from the coach to the Committal Shelter by Pgr members acting as pall bearers.
The minister said a few words then gave his prayer. The Military preformed Taps and folded the Flag then presented it to the surviving spouse. The RCIC thanked the family for allowing us to celebrate the life of their Hero, then The PGR Plaque was read as well as the PGR Invocation and presented  to the wife of our Hero.

Thank you to all of my fellow Patriot Guard Riders for attending this mission. A special Thank you to The SW Region for Staking the Flags at the Committal Shelter and for riding the last Accompaniment with our Hero. Your presence made a difference to this family.  Most of all, thank you SP5 Stephen R Frick, for your service to this great nation.
