ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Family of 1LT Lingley has graciously invited the Patriot Guard Riders to escort their loved one from Farley Funeral Home to Sarasota National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Mr. Lingley retired from the US Army, and upon completion of service, he received an honorable discharge. Mr. Lingley served as an NCO on his first tour and retired as a 1LT.
His Medals and Awards: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal 3rd award, Army Achievement Medal 5th award, Army Good Conduct Medal 4th award, National Defense Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon 2nd award, Driver and Mechanic Badge With Driver W/ Bar and Officer’s Basic Course. This hero served our great nation and us, and this is our turn to stand for this hero.

  6. Mission accomplished. Seven PGRs were honored to escort 1LT Lingley to Sarasota National Cemetery. There we were joined by 2 more PGRs as we stood our flag line during military honors for this hero and his family.
