DESCRIPTION:Mr. Stephen Douglas Brewer\nUSMC Vietnam Veteran\nArchdale\, NC\nJune 11\, 2016\n\n\n\nWe have been invited to honor the service of Mr. Stephen Douglas Brewer who departed June 6\, 2016 for his final duty station\, and we are honored to do so. \nMr. Brewer passed away on Monday June 6\, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  He was a veteran of the USMC\, serving from 1967 – 1971\, he was a Radar Operator.  During his tour he served 13 months in Vietnam.  His service earned him many ribbons including National Defense Service Medal\, Presidential Unit Citation\, Republic Viet Nam Campaign Medal w/clasp\,Viet Nam Service Medal w/5*\, Good Conduct Medal\, Combat Action Ribbon\, Viet Nam Meritorious Unit Gallantry Cross w/Palm & Frame\, Expert Marksman Badge. \nMr. Brewer is survived by his wife\, a son and a daughter and four brothers\, two sisters\, three grandchildren. \nFuneral service for Mr Brewer will be Saturday June 11\, 2016 in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service\, 120 Trindale Rd\, Archdale\, NC.  Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 1:00PM\, Service starts at 1:00PM.      \nhttp://binged.it/1sxuwnv \nSTAGING:  10:00AM at Sechrest Funeral Service\, Archdale\, NC \nBRIEFING:  10:15AM \nFollowing the briefing we will form the Flag line for the duration of the visitation which will conclude at 1:00PM.  We will stand down at the start of the service.  Family has asked that we render honors prior to the start of the service.  After rendering honors we will prepare for the escort to his final interment to be held at Floral Garden Cemetery located at 1730 W.
