Honor Mission
Stephen David Thompson, Veteran
USN, Vietnam
Augusta, Georgia – 05-05-20

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of GMG3 Stephen David Thompson was advised that the Navy would not be able to perform military honors for their loved one due to current COVID 19 restrictions. The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand in and we have advised them it will be an honor to stand for this hero. PO3 Thompson was a member of the 1st U.S. Navy dog handler team in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. Gunners Mate Thomson stood for us years ago and it is now our time to stand for him. Stephen was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
