ABOUT THE MISSION:
It is my sad duty to inform you of the Passing of another Vietnam Era Veteran.
Mr. Thomas Clayton Russell, Better Known as Tom Passed away on May 24 2017 at the age of 74.
Tom was born July 28, 1942 in Greeley, Colorado, to parents Fred and Mary (Shern) Russell. He graduated from East High School in Pueblo, Colorado in 1960, and shortly left thereafter to serve in the U.S. Army for a 3-year term.He was a PVTand a Light Truck driver and a marksman with the M-14. After serving in the military, he worked in a bakery, and in a steel mill in Pueblo, all while attaining his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern Colorado State College in March 1972. He moved to Georgia in 1973 and worked as a Certified Public Accountant until he retired.
This will be a flag line only mission at the Georgia National Cemetery. His interment is scheduled for 2:30
