For current details on this mission\, please follow the link below. \nCamp Butler Memorial Day Ceremony \n\nSpringfield\, Illinois – 29 May 2017\n \n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION:\nThe Patriot Guard has been requested to participate in the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield\, IL on Monday\, May 29\, 2017. There will be a number of guest speakers including Governor Bruce Rauner\, US Senator Tammy Duckworth/Lt. Colonel US Army\, and Major General Steven P. Best. There will be patriotic music\, the rifle volley and the playing of taps. They would like for the PGR to start off the event by riding in on our motorcycles for those that are riders. All PGR members are invited to participate motorcycle or not. We will ride as a group to the cemetery. Instructions on where to park once we reach the cemetery will be given out at the staging/briefing.
