Airman Basic Mario Rivas, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:
Mario Rivas was born on 23 February 1938 in Livingston, Texas.
Mario enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and served from 1955 to 1958.* At that point in his military career, Mario enlisted in the United States Air Force serving in the Transportation Squadron until being honorably discharged in 1959 with the rank of Airman Basic.
Airman Basic Rivas passed on 14 February 2003 and was buried in a small cemetery outside of Coolidge, Arizona.* His remains will be moved to Marana Veterans Memorial Cemetery where he will be buried next to his wife USMC SGT Victoria Maria Lipkovitz Rivas with the honors he never received.
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand a flag line for Airman Basic Rivas and it will our honor to do so.*
