ABOUT THE MISSION:
RM3 Salvatore “Sal” Leon Cicero, 92, of Pasadena & Bowie, MD died 19 March 2017. Sal was a WWII Navy Veteran, and part of this Nation’s Greatest Generation. After his discharge, Sal enjoyed a successful career in urban development in DC, MD and Delaware. He was a horse and racing aficionado and enjoyed Rock fishing. A devout Catholic, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic War Veterans. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Frances Hild Cicero, and a large and loving family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
RM3 Salvatore L. Cicero, is to be inurned on the grounds of New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore on 28 March 2017 at approximately 1100 hours. PGR has been invited to attend the services by his family and we will be there to escort him to his final resting place and then to stand tall silent and proud in honor of this WWII Navy Veteran, his family, friends and comrades at arms.
