ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the Family of 1LT (O-2) Charles Bess, United States Army to stand in his Honor and escort him to the Barrancas National Cemetery. 1LT Bess entered the United States Army on April 1967, and served until Jun 1970.
1LT Bess awards include Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Expert Machine Gun, Expert Rifle as well as other person awards.

- Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT Approved helmets, leather foot wear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will be maintained at all times while riding aboard the base.

1100 – Roll Time to Barrancas National Cemetery w/LEO escort
1130 – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery.
