ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Army Vietnam War Veteran Jack C. Melton has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his interment ceremony Friday, April 28th. It will be our honor to escort Jack and his family to Indiantown Gap National Cemetery for interment with full military honors. Jack was a Sergeant in the 25th Infantry Tank Division. He was highly decorated, including the Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts. Jack was an avid motorcyclist who succumbed to multiple cancers linked to his service in Vietnam. Jack Melton is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.

If going directly to IGNC, stage at the upper parking lot opposite the rear of the PA Memorial, (turn left at the US Flag Circle). Stage at 1030 HRS
DO NOT PROCEED TO COMMITTAL SITE WITHOUT PERMISSION.

NOTE: Concealed carry permits are NOT recognized on military installations and federal reservations. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery is a federal reservation. Do not bring weapons or hazardous materials to this mission.
