Gary served proudly in the US Marine Corps from 1966-1972. He served a thirteen month tour of duty in Vietnam. He served with the 1st Battalion 4 deuce mortar battery company. He earned a number of awards and decorations including the National Defense Medal\, The Vietnam Service Medal\, and the Vietnam Service Medal.  He attained the rank of Corporal E-4. Gary was a life member of VFW Post 3912 in Litchfield\, Amvets Post 16\, American Legion in Litchfield\, and the Marine Corps League. this is an ESCORT only mission.
