ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of MSgt Richard Dean Thiele, Sr. [79] requests the Patriot Guard to honor the military service of their Loved One and Hero by standing a flag line at his funeral service and internment. MSgt Thiele proudly served in the United States Air Force 1968 – 1987. His many awards and commendations include Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal with Silver and Bronze Oakleaf Clusters. In retirement, Richard served as a St. Charles County Corrections Officer. He enjoyed motorcycles and playing the trumpet. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. It is our honor to stand for such a warrior. Thank you for your service and our freedoms.
