Fellow Riders,
The family of S2C Frank W. McClantoc, Sr. has requested that the Patriot Guard stand for their loved one. Mr. McClantoc, a resident of W.F. Green State Veterans Home, passed away on 22 April 2017 at the age of 90. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Philippine Sea
(CV-47, Essex-class aircraft carrier) and USS Siboney (CVE-112, a Commencement Bay-class escort carrier) during World War II. His awards and commendations include WWII Victory Medal, American Area Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Area Campaign Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal (Europe), and an Honorable Discharge.
Visitation: 1300 – 1400 hrs. – Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home, 19698 S. Greeno Rd., Fairhope, A 36532
Funeral Service: At graveside
Interment: 1400 hrs. – Brook Cedron Cemetery, Hwy. 98, in route to Weeks Bay.
LEO: Fairhope Police Dept. Honor Guard: Yes
Mr. McClantoc stood many a hard day and night for us. Now it’s our turn to stand for him. Ride Safely!!
