ABOUT THE MISSION:
Hero Riechers served his country with Honor in the United States Army during WWII (1943-1945) as an Anti-Tank Gun Crewman and achieved the rank of Private First Class. He was in multiple campaigns and battles including Rome-Arno, Southern France, Rhineland and Central Europe and was awarded four Bronze Stars, Silver Star, European African Middle East Campaign Ribbon w/ Bronze Arrowhead, three Overseas Bars and the Good Conduct Medal.
He is survived by his four sons, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
